Locked to Dumbledore's Army and the Order except for Mr Malfoy and Professor Snape
Has anyone noticed that Mr. Malfoy always seems to be looking at something as if he's checking it for bogies? I mean..I mean it's a bit nervous making. Anyway. I finished work on some projects for Professor Sprout and..erm..I wondered if anyone needs anything? Because I'd like to do some work around things that talk. Except not Professor Snape Who looks as if he KNOWS there's bogies on everything because I don't think he really enjoys chatting. With me. I mean. Unless I've got loads of Chilean Triple-horned snails to clean and chop. Anyway, it's spring and everything so I am unveiling a little surprise. There's a patch of ground about two feet square next to the river near the Mill that I cleared and sowed wildflower seeds in. Luna helped me gather them all last year. Now there're loads of flowers, so go and give some to your sweethearts your friends and that. I've got to go find Trevor. He's gone off somewhere. |

And Miss Lovegood asked me to tell you that nothing is missing, she just tidied the greenhouses for you. She left a list where everything was, under the pot of rosa rugosa, along with a gardening glove from Kippenross. |

It's been a bit strange working in the greenhouses, when it's such brilliant walking weather. And I imagine for people who're good at Quidditch, it's brilliant flying weather too. I've been tending some surprises in pots so if Parvati Patil and Eleanor Branstone could come to see me I have some thing for each of you. It's fall. And no one has said ANYTHING about cider. Hot mulled cider. Doesn't it sound good? Isn't there anything we can do to make some? |

( Private ) Parvati, you know you can wash kelp and then make an infusion or decoction for use in a cream or lotion. Especially if you don't want seaweedy bits in the lotion. Or you could make a tincture with alcohol. All you have to do to prepare it is to wash the sand and salt off. Unless you'd rather dry it? But that's done mostly for eating. In soups and things. Um..you're not upset are you? I'm sorry I've taken so long to answer but I keep forgetting my password. So I wrote it on Trevor's collar with a bit of paint, and then Trevor got lost. I am sorry. Locked and private
I've had the strangest discussion with Professor Sprout. About shrinkleaf. She's growing it. To be used in battle. Though I'm not sure what use it will be. No, I take that back. It's very clear what sort of use it will be. Absorbing magic. Growing. Absorbing more magic. That's why I said it'd be of great use at BASWORT. Which is a bit silly when you think about it. Why should anyone want to use something in battle that they don't know how to get rid of? Still..it's something to do. Measuring, weeding, thinning the plants. Maybe even trying to find a way to get rid of them. It beats waiting. |

I've tilled the beds for the summer veg. If anyone's interested in helping me with them, I would appreciate it. I'm sure there has to be an award somewhere for person who's shifted most dirt from one place to another. And will whoever it is that's digging great big holes in the lawn stop? It's very annoying. Locked to the Safehouses
People who feed humerous objects to the venemous tentacula will be asked to retrieve them. If anyone is interested in helping me cultivate a crop of gillyweed, I'll be working in the greenhouse. Also I'm working on growing some maize. Maybe we could have our own popping corn. Sorry I don't have much to say. Everything's so muddled and confused lately, and I don't want to make things worse by adding to it. |
